ts(s) SS2010 Olive Sportcoat

Classic Gloves and Scarves for Winter

Cashmere lined deerskin gloves from Paul Stuart, suede shearling gloves from Brooks Brothers, and knit gloves from Barbour. It’s okay to skimp on knit gloves, but like with shoes, avoid cheap leather gloves.

Pria scarves from Blackbird, and English made wool scarves from J.Crew. All are excellent values for under $75.

Quoddy in @ Blackbird

Barbour’s Tarras and Explorer Bags

For classically styled bags, the ones sold by Barbour offer an incredible value.

I own both the leather tarras and explorer bags and have used them very heavily for the past two years. The leather and stitching has so far held up well, and I’ve had no problems with the fabric lining and metal hardware. [...]
