Here are a few shots I took of the new Highland jacket from Engineered Garments (previous post on it). The chambray fabric ended up being perfect for the warmer weather that we had in Seattle on Sunday.
The fit in the body is on the short side, and is similar to the Maine Guide jackets in the Woolrich Woolen Mills collection.
One of the new branded metal buttons, which are attached by a coil latch on the back. Be warned that this jacket has a lot of them.
Reinforced collar with throat latch.
More pockets.
A view of the side body seam. The armpit area is open, along with the large pocket to get to map/game pouch.
So far I’m very happy with it, and wouldn’t mind having another one in a heavier fabric.
