It looks like the Engineered Garments F/W2009 collection is starting to ship out to stores, so check in with your local stockists to see what they might be receiving. I will try to keep up with who’s getting what as I learn more.

I just came across a short feature about ts(s) on clstr.net with some good views of the clothing. The short riding jacket and vests are probably my more favorite pieces from the collection so far.
The guy wearing the blue brick sole wingtips in Tres Bien’s flickr stream was probably Takuji Suzuki as well. No word yet on any North American stockists.
Also on Tres Bien’s flickr page is a couple shots of Engineered Garments S/S2010 display. In the second photo, the guy looks like he is wearing a pair of the ts(s) blue brick sole wingtips.
There’s also another picture of the booth shown on nepenthes.co.jp in Daiki Suzuki’s journal.
Oipolloi.com recently uploaded some preview pictures of their Engineered Garments F/W2009 selection. Highlights are the field shirt jackets, the cape, and norfolk jacket, and it’s good to see that the steelhead fishing vest will be returning in wool. There was a short feature on ts(s) in a recent edition of Monocle where Takuji Suzuki (brother of Daiki Suzuki of Engineered Garments) explained that he wanted to offer a more playful version of preppy Americana. It’s a shame Monocle’s editors did not want to do a larger feature and interview with him instead of just a few sentences.
Luckily for the internet, Museum Ark in Japan took pictures from the showroom and is offering some of their selection for preorder. I’ll assume for now that all of this stuff will be too small for me, but it’s fun to look at anyways. Read on to see more images.
