I was going through some of my older posts and realized that it’s a shame that Ercol’s furniture is not easily available here in the U.S. (or at least the originals line). I’ve been shopping locally for new chairs with no luck, but the butterfly chairs and love seat are exactly what I’m looking for.
Starbucks recently opened up a new concept store on the top of Capitol Hill in Seattle called 15th Ave Coffee and Tea where they’ve dropped the cookie cutter branding for the look of an indie shop. I hope this goes well for the company in the long run as their current stores aren’t exactly inviting.
Of course there are about a dozen other great coffee shops within a few blocks from each other in that area (Victrola, Ladro, etc.), but sometimes you don’t want to have to wait 10 minutes in line just for a single shot of espresso.

J.Crew just put up quite a bit of new goods for fall on their site today. Read on to see some of the highlights that are particularly good, and also check out their August catalog for men.
There are quite a few different cardigans available this season in various fabrics. I’ve never been a big fan of the shawl collar versions, but they do work well when worn layered under jackets. I think Silver and Gold has images for most of them.
A few more Andover jackets and shawl collar vests from Museum Ark/ArkNet. The black jacket and vest is made with wool serge and the lighter colored versions are made from a wool denim blend.
