There have been a couple of different versions of the pathfinder jacket over the years, but last year’s has been the most versatile for me – made from a very light cotton/nylon poplin fabric, it’s been perfect for warm weather and has also been a great travel jacket due to how easy it is to pack it into small spaces. I’ve been hunting around for another one in navy, but I’m guessing that there were probably only a few made for North American stores.

Captain Hilts (played by Steve McQueen) carries a great looking military duffle bag in “The Great Escape”.
From a recent edition of Leon… Men in America typically avoid wearing pants that are colored anything other than khaki and indigo and they can be difficult to pair up with odd jackets if they’re not something you’re used to. Use some of the pictures below to help give you a few ideas on what colors to pick.

I have a pair of the Ranger Moccasins which I enjoy (and I’ve been told they will be restocked on their site soon), but the usefulness and purpose of crepe soled shoes are lost when used as drivers.
The Engineered Garments tote bags from S/S2008 have been reintroduced into the Workaday line (along with the overnighter bag). I have both from last year, and they’ve been excellent as far as bags go – the canvas is fairly sturdy, the shoulder strap is sometimes useful, and the hardware is about as good as you can get.
There are no U.S. stockists for these yet, but you can get them through Rakuten’s Borderless service:
