The results of my search – a Stetson branded panama hat with a plain ribbon and 2″ narrow snap brim.
I’m not an expert, but from what I could glean online this hat is probably a low to mid tier fino based on the number of weaves. The finer the hat is though, the weave count goes up and the floppier it gets (which was not something I was looking for anyways).
Hand woven in Ecuador.
